Makenah's 7!

Makenah turned 7 today, I had her a pool party on sunday. Can anybody explain to me why we had a pink party when her favorite color is purple?? Hummmm......
Everything went well except mariah, the baby fell into the deep end of the and almost drowned. It scared the crap out of me. If my friend haden't seen her go down the slide, Thank you SHANA!! Is totally was screaming get the baby, get the baby, I couldn't get there fast enought runnng and screaming get the baby ( because I had obviously heard her) And my cousin John (THANK YOU JOHN) Reach out and grabbed her, I got her wrapped her in a towel and held her for a long time I didn't even feel better after she stopped chokeing a coughing. It was horriable she is only 2 and jusy rolling around just under the surface with her eyes wide and looking around. Did I say how scared I was??
And the my lovley hubby was that why you don't let then get out of your site with out a life jacket on, ( I agree with tghis tooo) but hed said it so passive and just so la te da, I wanted to slap him! And then he said thats why those thigs don't happen when I'm around, Duh your never around you were inside watching the tv, so bite me. Anywa way that was our day.

OMG, OMG!!! I would've been so freakin' scared that it would've probably ruined the rest of the day for me!! I totally agree that the life vest/floaties should be worn ALL the time if they can't swim...cuz you never know. whew...my heart is beatin' so fast even now!!
on a brighter note, your pink table lay out looks pretty!! did she have a good time despite the scary event?
